Aviation is very specialised and a relatively small industry.
A lot do get out, but it usually means a complete career change.
Sometimes tats not easy for a guy with a mortgage and wife n kids to support.
So some jst have to keep on keeping on !
Most love the industry and the job, but as you get older the shifts and the bean counters wear you down.
