Just like many Union actions during the recent past their role has been to screw their employer and not much else.
My understanding of Unions are they are actually on a pretty good wicket compared to 'normal' workers.
British Coal industry was taken out by Margaret Thatcher in the 80s this way. Patricks on our waterfront was another win for the company.
So the the reasons for Unions has come full circle. Unions were "invented" to protect workers from employers exploiting them. Now it seem Unions are there to feather the nests of Union leaders and exploit or stand over the employers.
I'm against what I'll term, "unrealistic profits". Banks with their billions of dollars profit and they scream "we are hurting and this is why we NEED the fees".
I'm also against blackmailing companies for unrealistic rewards.
And don't get me started on petrol prices! :-)
