Australia's reliance on income from in ground resources continues but value adding has gone by the way side. A developed country with little manufacturing - not even a car - contrast with Germany, Japan or Sth Korea. Tourism dead, and reliance on overseas students and backpackers to fill some jobs curtailed.

But in general, a large part of the world's population could disappear and if so what difference would it make? Humans are becoming surplus in a society pushing for changes due to amongst other things the spiel about climate change and how the masses are to blame. So, get rid of a large proportion of masses and replace with more efficient humanoids - non gender specific and/or sex change at the push of a button and on call 24/7 virtually or otherwise. It'll solve food shortages and the desire for reduction on reliance of animals as a food source. Perhaps a less is more way of thinking.

Interestingly some seem to think target reductions of 90 odd percent. The 90% vaccination target has also been talked about. Make of that as one wishes - conspiracy theories or otherwise. One may wish to research and one may just find that the biggest conspiracies are that which originate from governments. Either way time will tell and time is ticking.

One can only wonder how humanely humanoids will treat humans once humanity is confronted on masse - and particularly by some such as robocops. If one has trouble with a chess game beating a computer - try beating a well armed humanoid or simply a straight out 'live' out of a box walking/talking/fighting android.
