I guess it depends on the deposit and whether you have the funds for a gamble. If it isn't total junk, low grade, tiny , isolated or under a N.T. cloud... you should at least get your money back on a vend. I would take a look see yourself first. Even if you are not a geo, you could gauge the size/depth/quality and a least compare your visual inspection to other deposits.
