I don't think today's downfall is attributed to CEO, whole Lithium section is -8% to -19% (LKE, INR, SYA, AZL etc) all have same story. It seems like institutional investors are pulling out from Lithium sector. With Fed Chief J Powell indicated recession could be possibility, the market has understood what is coming.
