As far as I know (and sorry I haven't read all recent posts here) PL has moved from exec to non-exec director on the CCC board. Surely the perpetual VanMag delays are enough for him to vacate the board altogether?

Although ... the Conti website says PL is still an exec director:

The link you gave is great Hairy - but it is not totally reliable, in that Buthelezi left the board last year, and also Macaulay is no longer Chairman, and is instead a non-exec director, as of 23/2/2012. [ see end page 2: http://www.conticoal.com/_content/documents/350.pdf ]
