It amazes me that you guys even speculate about possible tax selling etc. Whether a person sells a stock or not for tax purposes is an individual decision based on individual circumstances. To try and determine this is pointless.
My own experience is that because losses can be carried forward from one FY to the next, the need to sell a stock in the next FY that I'm in profit in is negated. Afterall, why would I sell a stock like hdr that is continually rising, there's no benefit in that (tax or otherwise).
