thanks kincella. I have found that even when it says that I can get broadband further checks indicate too far from exchange for adsl. I have not been able to access wireless broadband yet either and although the area in which I live is zoned rural by the Brisbane city council it is only 15k from the city centre so Telstra broadband networks obviously have big problems.!
