one dollar for every suggestion thought 40 and you'd not have enough with your ten thousand bucks to pay for them all but alas, it seems, copperites are struggling to come to terms with themselves with their lack of suggestions.

split the money 3 ways and watch the mkt. note those you like over the next few weeks and do your research thoroughly.
select your 3 and attack.
bear in mind the commodity mkts have turned decisively upwards now. few recognise this atm. the big boys have tho.
you said you like resources. stick with what you like and are comfortable with.
imho the hot money will leave the ozzy dollar soon enough. this will help the miners. commodity mkts have lift off (see bloomberg link) so it might be one of those one way tickets for ozzy dollar based resource investors.
note that the by the hot money i am looking at the currency players here. oz is seen as a safe AAA haven with good returns on money. it can't last.
for resource invetsors 'tis looking good from my point of view.
