Couldn't agree more. I hope all the major stakeholders (PH Govt, JV partners) are exerting as much pressure as possible behind the scenes.
This discussion has been fairly sympathetic to the corrosion issue, IMO there was no excuse; either they used old equipment (already corroded) or disimilar metals (that caused the corrosionin such a short time). A reasonable operator would not have made such an error of judgement.
I hope there are no further problems to emerge
Curiously GPC has the greatest stake in this project, lets hope some bricks dropped on the person(s) responsible.
It's not unreasonable to expect competent operations and timely, honest updates to manage market expectations.
I/We have been critical of NDO but NDO's responsibility should really be to apply pressure to the operator to manage the project and communicate as appropriate. Let's all hope that's happening.
