Welcome to HC alwjmw - if your super fund gets rolled so will mine because I am in the same position. I took a chance on this because after the crash my fund was looking a bit sick and it needs a win just to bring it back to par. I did not see this as a huge risk - the creditors pretty much had to help out Centro. Consider Commbank - they have just taken a beating over their unsecured lending to Centro and their lower than expected profits. If Centro goes into liquidation it will draw more attention to their poor lending practices and they will also loose out as a major shareholder. Other banks in Australia and US will also get punished - as will the market as a whole if Centro goes under. Any big company going under at the moment will cause major panic. So Centro going under means we all loose badly. I was fairly sure they would not let that happen so was not as nervous as many people seemed to be.
