My sincere sympathy to you as a cancer survivor myself. I have a very rare sarcoma - GIST, have had four operations, the last of which was a partial liver resection to remove a resurrected metastatic tumour a year ago. Fortunately, there is medication that (sort of) keeps it under control.

When I was diagnosed in 2006, there was very little information on the web. However, now there is much more, including a few support groups.

    I would recommend:
    1. Finding a support group e.g. http://www.mouthcancerfoundation.org/ where you can share information with people who have the same diagnosis. Support groups in the USA ad the UK (at least for GIST) are extremely useful.
    2. Be your own advocate and get a second opinion if you doubt the first.
    3. Stay positive and keep yourself busy.

    Good luck and keep fighting!
