I don't have an issue with your math Jopo- although to be honest I haven't checked it at all.
I'm more concerned with your methodology and the way you've gone about things. I'm really not sure what you're getting worked up about. You've put your hypothesis forward, you've asked for comments or suggestions and you're getting them. It's not personal.
