For some reason the thought of Odin and Blu merging with GOG makes me much happier. Could it still be possible to break away from the DLS merger? They still have to put it to a shareholders vote. If Odin and Blu are seen on the horizon, I will vote against the DLS merger.
As you say Skitzo, they are both JVs in PEL106. Their farm in terms are much more in favour of GOG, and likely that's why they are now shying away from drilling. A merger would likely see them coming to the party with increased drilling activity. They have got to hit something as a result of the 3D seismic surveys.
Get back to your broker friend and ask him to get more info if possible...cheers.
