go to the www.commbank.com.au/propertyvalueguide/ put in the area or postcode......see the facts for yourself........... now I only checked areas I am interested in.......inner melb city and the country albury props....all up.. then I checked some outer melb se and west suburbs..........all have risen in past 3 months and 12 months periods..........except for one....which lost 2% in 3 months but was up 12% for the year............ so far not found 30% drops anywhere...went looking in the dreaded sydney areas........nope still no massive drops.. sydney inner east lost 5% last 3 months but up 2% for the year, inner west is up 3%, and 6% pa, outer west has lost 1% both periods.........
