bottom of what market? Metals? housing? Why would any body in the US with a $1m morgage pay this and the interest back to their bank when all the other simmilar houses in their street are selling for $500k? That is the fundamental problem that the world still faces, and it will take years to unwind. And now, can we possibly be considering that after the dust settles on the vanishing export market, China can (amazingly) swifty completely restructure its economy in a matter of months and hope that their domestic demand replace the demand that the US and Eurozone leave vacant??? A big ask IMO. We may get back to half of the levels of the market we once knew.
