There is much process yet to play out in Qld imo.

The Qld Govt have to formulate their UCG policy later this year or early 2012 I think.

There is to be a Qld election no later than about mid 2012.

Cougar have announced they contest DERM's decision ... they are now entitled to an "independent" internal assessment from DERM of DERM'S decision.

Cougar will no doubt chip away until there is an inveitable change of government in Qld before declaring their legal case imo ... the current government is in no mind or position to be even handed and admit they and/or their regulators have made mistakes and caused damage justifying compensation to Cougar.

There is also process to be played out in China/Outer Mongolia.

Imo, this is just a period to be worked through.
