Senator Linda Reynolds is suing Brittany Higgins for defamation
Liberal Senator Linda Reynolds is suing her former employee Brittany Higgins for defamation over social media posts which accused her of harassment.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the politician has filed proceedings with the Western Australian Supreme Court which reveal she is seeking damages for the posts.
Ms Reynolds claims she was defamed in an Instagram story posted by Ms Higgins on July 4 and a Twitter post on July 20, in which her former staffer accused her of harassment.
