Nevertheless, Tesla will still need Spodumene in the near term.
Theoretically, it is achievable to get good lithium results with a pilot scale. But in an industrial scale, they will eventually find it hard. If you worked with clay before, you will come to realise you will need lots of water to clean it off.... let alone extracting from the clay substract.
I would raise the alarm in whether that is mining in a sustainable and environmentally way.
Nevertheless, Tesla will still need Spodumene in the near term....
