You're right - I'm right out of touch with interest rates!
But you can get 2.8% at St George with a term deposit with minimum $1,000.
So with the $2,000, that's a much more modest $501,000 return over 200 years.
Still a bloody good achievement to get your $2,000 to $501,000 in a day with shares!
