You are talking to the water & env person here. There are a lot of ways you can sustainablly ultilise that CSG extraction water depending on the quality & quantity:
(1) Treat it good for industrial, stock and domestic consumptions
(2) Treat it ok for irrigation
(3) Re-injection when CSG is extracted
(4) you can do lots of other thing with water at your own imagination.

The hardest part here is how to educate and convince local people that you are doing the right things by them....

As for your holding things are way larger than mine... well stick to you own conviction and belief with your investment decision. It is going to be volatile until the NSW gov can sort out their house keeping. Common sense will prevail for sure..

MEL can always shift their operation to Queensland, SA or even WA as the last resort..
