No one has posted about NCO on HC in a loooooong time so I figured that with the reawakening in the share price over the last couple of days that perhaps it is awakening from its winter hibernation.

So, does anyone out there know something or is it just a general market reawakening and a realization that the copper price may have bottomed?

Funny how a stock like MEU can put on $20m of cap, & at one stage about $36m of cap, on the back of some visible copper and nickel in outcropping, yet NCO which has a JORC compliant Indicated and Inferred Resource of 7.25 million tonnes (Mt) at 1.7%Cu and 8g/t Ag for 123,250t copper (270 million lbs) and over 1.8 million ozs silver at its Ongombo deposit in Namibia is capped at less than $5.5m.MEU put on almost 4 times that on the back of outcropping.


This world really is screwed up. OK, I realize Namibia is not the Gawler Craton but give us a break. NCO has just over USD1 billion of copper in the ground & the silver is worth an additional USD62 million. Also, according to the most recent announcement, there is a resource upgrade due any tick of the clock.

I don’t know, guess I’ll just continue to play value & let the young gamblers play momentum. We’ll see who keeps their money at the end of the day.
