The fact of the matter is that both former and incumbent Aussie members of the board don't really appear to have any clout over the decisions or direction of this company...
"Andrew assured me the dividend size is his focus with the CEO in China. Advising the Ceo ...a decent sized Div will restore faith and love from brokers in Australia... helping sp to recover to its 20c listing. We agreed strongly the dividend is the swing factor for SBB... nothing else mattered now. The fact of the matter is that it appears both former and incumbent Australian members of the board don't really have any more idea than certain senior brokerage advisers... The fact of the matter is that reading posts on this forum is sometimes reminiscent of trying to follow the global warming controversy where some of the SBB loyalists remain undeterred in their quest to prove to the world that the Pandist clothing brand really does exist and actually is made out of real material that you can actually, see, feel, touch, wear, and even purchase if you wish from one of many retail outlets that also really do exist... The problem here however is that neither side of the debate is even doubting that global warming is actually occurring just as no one here is really doubting that Pandist exists. Ruby, you also wrote; Sure, but is the CEO really willing to share "HIS BABY" which a bunch of strangers on the other side of the world? The answer to this question is only ever going to come in the form of dividend payouts, period. We can talk all day about store expansions or investment planning in 2015, but at the end of the day it is still just another Chinese stock listed on the ASX.
