I agree thisisit. A safe haven and the shackles have been lifted off to allow the US$ to fall.
Gold should rise against the greenback for the second reason and against other currencies (to a lesser exoent) for the first.
I still haven't seen any strategies posted here for Australian investors to benefit from gold.
