    happy you like it. One has to pace oneself for a typical French home lunch. There’s some iconic stuff in your pic. If you’re still there, see if you can look at the cheese knife, there could be a bee shaped emblem where you rest your thumb. That’s worth knowing about. Ask any French person.
    The blue cheese is Roquefort, if you like the flavour, remember the name and in your travels if you see some artisan cheeses with that name, try some.
    They are all sheep milk, with the very distinctive mould. The industrial ones are ok, some artisan ones can spoil you for life.
    Beef cheeks are great, so are pork jowl (joue de porc” or “bajoue de porc). Wonderful winter food.
