many say the greatest thing about asutralia is the beach, the sun, the (multi cultural) food, the grog, the babes, the drongos, the billabongs,,,,,,

I say NO (!). The greatest thing about Australia is the spirit of the people + community which i don't see many countries. maybe a few.
To be precise - the spirit of volunteerism (if there is such a word lol) and giving a hand. Look at it at the surf, at the kids weekend football, at primary schools, at the annual cleanups,,bush fires,,

Talking about kid's school - We have to volunteer to mow the lawn because the school do not provision fo lawn mowing and cleanups. it is a public school in Sydney. This really is third world stuff. Also there are no air condition.. but the spirit lives. .... But wtf - so third world.

& they are throwing pink batts around to the value of $1200. wtf. sorry i ve got off tangent here.
