None of my posts have crticised short selling as such. The reason is that, like it or not, its here to stay and is a fact of life in the market jungle.
I've always said that the best way to deal with what some call manipulation, is to accept the price where it is. I don't know where you draw the line on 'manipulation' because every buy and sell trade influences the price and the motives for doing so are unknowable.
But its worth remembering that the shares sold are contracted for delivery to the buyer with the same legal force that any mortgage document has. New shares are not created, so every short sold share has to be purchased at some point. Good luck!
