A dollar can be achieved with the following.
step 1. The market would have to purchase REITs at their NTA/share again. This happens in normal or bull markets. Sometimes shares trade at higher then NTA as people are expecting growth in the sector.
step 2. NTA would have to increase to around $1 per share. If property valutations rose by just 15 percent and CNP gained equity in it's share of superllc to a point where our impairment was 0.
With a NTA and shareprice of $1, I would think a dividend would have to paid out also. Their earnings are down from the highs of around 12c per share in the past. This is a result of many things including occupancy levels, cheaper rents, Aussie dollar being high and paying high interest rates.
If the dollar were to drop significantly, you might be surprised how quickly cer would chase a dollar per share.
