re: question about apg Hi cyw,

The WIM 150 lease in the Murray Basin contains a massive deposit of fine grain heavy minerals. This cannot as yet be used in commercial production as it is too fine and makes a dust that clogs up the process. APG have carried out bench scale testing where they have successfully agglomerated the fine grains into larger grains that can be used in current Ti02 processes. Work needs to be done to scale this up to a commercial batch size and prove the process before they can get funding to put a mine down there. CRT already has an opperating mine.

APG has been pushing hard to show their process can get rid of chromium on current commercial grade deposits plus the fact the quality of their syn rutlie is far superior to current syn rutile product. This deal keeps APG firmly in control whilst having access to raw material from a typical current mine. Once this is successfull they will have the funding to prove the Wim150 is commercial and they will have a huge deposit to play with.

    Cheers

    Seik
