    It will educate you to the 100+ patents on this technology which can be used for many new sustained delivery drugs which is the best way to deliver drug as you get a steady state of drug in the system. Any company using Psivida's delivery system must pay a royalty based on sales. Also Iluvien will be the ONLY drug to treat DME where there are over 1 million US cases and at least that many cases worldwide. At about $6500 per eye since each patient has two there are alot od royalties coming their way.
