Definitely, but I really don't think we'll see much of any substance come from the States until later this year.

The hype from IMI on the ACC presentation is a bit misleading. It is a poster presentation. Basically, people stand around and decide who they are going to talk to/what they are going to look at. Of the 30000 "flaneurs", a small percentage are cardiologists.

The crux of it all is to get published in the journal. Then one holds their breath to see if there are any rebuttals on the scientific findings/evidence/presentation. If there are no meaningful challenges to the evidence, then that is considered "acceptance" of the findings as scientific fact by the profession. There is another leading US based journal they are aiming for later in the year (Nov I think). Once they nail both of them, then IMI can legitimately scream from the rooftops re the CPI.

Having said all that, there is still a lot going to happen in the meantime.
