I'm always fascinated to learn new knowledge from humour
like here was me thinking that the Italians began calling pasta 'pasta' in the 1950's ------ after it was invented in the 4th century (took Oz a while to catch on)
and here's me thinking that the Romans had all that olive oil for cooking - apparently they must have lubricated the propellers on their boats though - the ancient greeks of course - I thought that they began to use it for cooking, before that - it was used for light in lamps and a few other things
who knew that it really only got going as a food lately
