    The lease payments are deductible for tax purposes
    but for general accounting purposes ie in the financials
    submitted to shareholders the interest element of the
    lease payments is expensed and in addition the leased
    plant is amortised ie a charge similar to normal depn.
    is taken up in the accounts.
