BB has 15m votes with which he can try to defeat a TO (likely hostile if he rejects it). As for the rest of the SH, we will all have the opportunity to assess the offer based on our own specific needs. In the unlikely event that someone lobbed a 30c bid this week, it would be very hard to ignore it. Who knows when the markets will crash.
