Thanks Selmax,
your approch to profit taking makes a lot of sense.
I have often turned a reasonable profit into a loss by holding out for just that bit more.
Minde you I have also done the opposite many times - grab a quick profit only to see a sp continue up.
So it all comes down to judgement which you seem to do well at!

I find the RBS Mini warrant series very good for trading.
They offer both long and short - are listed and tradable via etrade and don't have a fixed expiry like options.
I have traded options a lot and have found it hard to make consistant profits and easy to make consistant losses!
I have had a much better strike rate with the Minis.
