I remember going to a SAS investor presentation meeting in Sydney about 2 years ago.
SAS was the first spec stock I picked up and I remember two things distinctly.
1. Mier and his homies were rocking laptop backpacks branded with SAS embroidery.
2. Meir re-iterating that investing in SPACE technology is risky. Problems with launch, equipment failure etc etc..
My thoughts on point 1 were, "do they really need to spend on custom embroidery on laptops bags at this stage of the business? what other pointless crap are they spending money on hmmmmm".
On point 2 - The tech had been proven, customers were knocking on the door so the only risk I saw were as Mier stated 'SPACE' issues such as launch problems or failures in space. Little did I know back then, the risk was not SPACE, but incompetence from a management team spending cash like money grew on trees.
Anyway, long story short - to thank Meir on his outstanding performance in failing to deliver nothing except dilution, debt and false promises, I sent Meir and his team a bag of lemons.
Thanks Meir, Thanks SAS.
No one to blame but my own naive self here, just an amusing post and rambling on my part!
