very good study from Awoonga,
today's stop loss at least half of them imo are from the low 40c entry 2 weeks ago for lock in 20%-25% profits before sp drift further south.
tome, im in for FA then trade on TA, only if i know i will be tight up with something else like my day job, otherwise i rarely set stop losses.. i sometimes set stop losses before a price sensitive ann / update to protect massive sell down from event traders...

but if you are d/trader, then 5%-8% stop loss seems reasonable except event trade.
