They said the same thing about rare earths. Its pollution, its grades, closing mines. not opening new ones. If you get fooled by that talk so be it. Graphite has no demand, and demand will not grow much. Ton wont make it to mining.
As for syr, I don't know enough about it, but if I was a betting man, which im not, I believe syr has more chance than ton of getting a mine going, but believe it will go belly up a few years down the track when graphite prices plunge. All good bubbles burst
