Agree, good volumes and the steady buying indicate it is someone taking a big stake... a director perhaps, cant see it being a takeover bid, there was plenty of chance to pick this up cheaply while the SP was hanging around 16-18c for most of the past 12 months. An investment house is my guess.
The occasional center point trades indicate someone is trying to keep a lid on the price....
