From our conversation it sounds (to me) like there might be an announcement within 48 hours stating that some HC's have been found and whilst it adds to the knowledge of the area the find is NOT commercial. (ie: another scientific well).

I have asked that Simon give a detailed analysis of the significance of the well and that the JV partners release any price sensitive announcements simultaneously.

The announcements from day one in Mauritainia from the JV partners have been attrocious if not deceiving, and not much has changed. Who can forget the original "plug and abandon" announcement for Chinguetti - 1 where the sp dipped 50% before they added " by the way we found oil" ?

John Doran from ROC is a loose cannon and if it eventuates that he attempted to mislead shareholders or inform "insiders" then the full force of ASIC should descend upon him.

Ordinary shareholders who have their funds at stake should never be the last to know the truth.
