Multiple Thai Government representatives appear as witness at the tribunal all of whom returned home with their tails between their legs. Some of them where subsequently thrown under the bus and lost their job and political status.
Certain influential Thais know what KCN have developed at Chatree and also pegged along their gold belt. This to them has all just a pantomime up to now until the commercial reality of the settlement kicks in. I have no doubt whatsoever they'll pay up to be part of it and the "new golden era" and diversify their business models.
