I think GRY are holding tijirit up their sleeve. If the tasiast mine managed to get the perfect boundary for their mineralisation it would be bloody incredible.
AMX, GRY, GMR are all hitting ridiculous intercepts and yet their SP lags (or falls!)
AMX in particular is hitting consistently solid intercepts (maybe not the 244 g/t that GMR hit) but they keep getting very healthy grades over long widths - I prefer this mineralisation.
to be honest, I think the OVERWHELMING factor in these plays is sovereign risk.... which, don't get me wrong, is a very serious concern... these places are the frontier. I'm not sure about you, but i've never seen a hilux with 5 men in the back with AK-47s around where I live.
BUT - I think the risk is well and truly priced in. Anywhere else in the world and they would be trading at multiples of where they are now.
I always remind myself... spec plays (and goldies in particular) are NEVER are sure thing.
The motto is always,
Risk / Reward
Risk / Reward
Risk / Reward
Risk / Reward
Keeping this in mind, I think there are very few better prospects than AMX and GRY at the moment. At the current S.P. and given their resource base and further potential, the upside potential THOROUGHLY overwhelms the downside risk.
if you're comfortable playing this game (and the timelines involved) then this that's as close as you can get to a solid buy*. Simple as that.
P.S.
hercules... if that's true about your trades then I tip my hat to you... I can't (don't have the grapes) play that game yet... any tips?
