The issue here is not that you misunderstood, but the fact that when other people previously were pointing out that it is escrowed you vehemently disagreed thinking no way you could be wrong. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but when you make a very strong statement to refute someone else's information that's not correct either unless you have hard evidence backing it. You lose your credibility like this when you are not willing to listen to arguments of others..
