Thats because in oz the average punter doesnt see tech stock value.
Many stocks in usa make no money yet worth 500m on idea alone.
The other thing is you dont need a billion dowloads of the app for billion valuation
If they get a billion downloads mate then theyll be worth close to a trillion similar to facebook.
Reality is 1m downloads will get the app going and users interested and businesses interested.
Clever social marketing to young people through miss ex california and ryan seacrest links is going to imo do that for them by this calendar year.
People here just dont understand Big has 100 employees so is not a backyard garage operation.
