As I mentioned in a previous post, I also subscribed to Fat Prophets three weeks ago and I've made good profits from some of their recommendations, especially HHL. I recommend that it MUST be combined with a basic dose of technical analysis logic.

However, also be warned as I said before in a previous post you MUST follow their recommendations with a strict stop loss. They do not sell out of falling stocks, they hold on for a year or two until the price returns to its original levels.

I backtested their historical recommendations and doubled their returns by simply using an 8% stop loss and simply bought back into their recommended stock when TA said it was OK.
