I find of interest the fact that British Gas is paying $US0.40 per 000 c/ft of gas or $US2.40 per bbl of oil equivalent for reserves in ground, according to Panmure Gordon of the UK.
When one compares that gas cost with the Bloomberg futures gas price of around $US4.0 per 000 c/ft produced and delivered at the New City Gate, BG seems to be very keen to aquire gas reserves. Conix
