I believe you are correct and AGL are also planning to build the renewable pumped hydro project in Muswellbrook. AGL also tried to get LPG off the ground in Victoria but the Victorian Government wouldn't allow a terminal to be built. I think saying AGL has been inactive is inaccurate and that description better applies to Federal and State energy strategy.
