Would think they run to their shutdown dates as they can supply such large proportion would simply be foolish to shutdown huge supply prematurely run risk of outages/costs.
if you look germany their plans atm 2038 coal phase out so would imagine we wouldnt be too far ahead of them.
in terms of profitability would need subsidy then unless peak prices work out much more than avg prices to compensate but be surprised if we so far ahead of germ.
