Aren't you a tickle worried, moon, that the only cost-cutting measure that Labor has come up with, is to attack the 'haves', or the achievers. What incentive does that give to the economy?
This will only give more advantage to the large financial institutions, and will push more people toward them, as opposed to directly investing in shares. Remember, the larger institutions already pass all tax credits from their pension funds, which are not taxed, to their superfunds, to reduce the 15% earnings tax. Us little guys haven't got the scale to do that, so, we are going further behind with this, if legislated.
The big union funds will be gainers from this also, for the same reasons.
