Not quite; an elite group are saying this is how THEY want to be recognised. Unfortunately in a democracy the majority get to decide how THEY will be recognised. The majority think that WE should all be recognised equally. They have a voice in many forms and they are far from being silenced. The yes vote is based on pure emotion. A specific chapter in the constitution makes for racial recognition. A preamble is the only inclusive place for all inhabitants to be recognised; before and after federation.
